d to this moment, setting up the business. Metal Detecting is now a very popular hobby, with a vast choice of equipment, clubs, rallys and online content, fueled by the TV phenomenon "Detectorists". Very few skills schools exist nationally for what is a technically complex hobby. I've seen many struggling detectorists asking for help in online forums and on organised digs. I want to give everyone a fair shot at the hobby, so the experience days skills school was born. Here at GVMD we are passionate about the hobby, so much so, we want to share that passion with you. We’re excited to announce that Gordano Valley Metal Detecting will be joining us at the Dig For Victory Show!

GVMD will be bringing along a fascinating mix of WWII and historic metal detecting finds, giving visitors the chance to get up close to some incredible pieces of history.

Their stand will also feature an interactive detecting area where you can try out metal detecting machines for yourself with guidance from experienced detectorists — perfect for beginners and enthusiasts alike!

Whether you’re curious about taking up the hobby or already passionate about history and heritage, make sure you stop by and say hello to the GVMD team during the show!

Great for beginners, this 8 hour session includes skills school and detecting on the 500 acre site. All equipment is provided, alternatively bring your own and learn how to use it effectively.
