Player of the Season 🏆

The “Player of the Season” award is given to the player the coaches believe has shone consistently throughout the year. This player has shown outstanding determination, excellent commitment, and real leadership both on and off the pitch. They work hard in training, always support their teammates, and consistently perform at a very high level.

They have made a real difference to the team this season and fully deserve this special recognition.

Eddie Lowe Award 🏆

Some of you will know, and for those who don’t, Eddie Lowe was one of the founding members of Priory Pumas Football Club. As Director of Football, he had total respect for every player, coach, and parent involved in the club. He was a man with great knowledge of the game and the ability to share that knowledge with those around him. Sadly, Eddie passed away, but this award is given in honour of his memory.

The award recognises a player who shows great technical ability, real flair, and a high work rate. Someone who is always striving to improve and who plays with real passion for the game.

Most Improved Player 🏆

This award goes to a player who has worked extremely hard throughout the season and has shown clear improvement both on and off the pitch. They have made a real effort to become more consistent, focusing their energy and commitment in training and during matches.

As the season has gone on, they have continued to progress, showing moments of real brilliance and helping the team to perform at its best. Their attitude and development have been excellent to see.

This award is voted for by the team and goes to a lad who is obviously a very popular team member. This lad has had a great season and we have seen him grow in both competence and confidence. He’s become much more vocal on the pitch and has lead by example on several occasions with some battling performances. Can’t wait to see how much more he can do next season. The Sportsmanship Award 🏆

The Sportsmanship Award was introduced a few years ago and is given to the player the coaches believe best demonstrates respect, kindness, teamwork, and honesty. The player consistently encourages their teammates, listens carefully to their coaches, and always gives their very best effort.
Throughout this season, they have shown all of these qualities both in training and in matches, while also maintaining a consistently positive attitude.
