What an incredible term it has been ✨

So much progress, strength, mobility, focus and commitment shown in every single class. From the dark winter mornings to the long spring evenings — you all kept showing up, putting in the work and supporting each other. I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved together this term. 🤍

Today marks our final day of classes before a short break. From tomorrow, I’ll be up in Central London doing something I truly love — being a student again for the week. ✨

I’ll be immersing myself in dance, Pilates and Barre training for self-care, growth, inspiration and continued learning. I truly believe that to be a good teacher, you must also feel comfortable being a student once in a while. There is always more to learn, explore and experience through movement. 🤍

Classes will resume from June 1st and I cannot wait to come back refreshed, inspired and ready for another amazing term together. Individual classes will be released on the website on Monday 25th of May.

Thank you all for your energy, trust and dedication this season. Enjoy the break and see you in June! ✨

WE ARE BACK! 🧘✨

After a wonderful Easter break, it’s time to shake off the holiday fuzz and get back to movement! I am so excited to see you all back in class starting today, April 10th. Our first week back is all about Foundations. We are stripping it back to focus on:

Body & Mind Connection: Reconnecting with how we move.

Core & Centering: Finding our powerhouse.

Breathing: Oxygenating the body for an efficient, powerful flow.

Concentration: Using deep focus to switch off the "outside noise" and listen to what our bodies truly need.

Taking this much-needed time for ourselves isn’t just about the physical workout; it’s about centering ourselves to take care of our central nervous system. In a busy world, these 60 minutes on the mat are your ultimate reset button. 🔌🌱

📅 Important Schedule & Booking Update:

Because of our Easter and May holiday breaks, both April and May are shortened months with 3 weeks of classes each.

April Sessions: Currently running! Limited individual slots are still available on the website—grab yours before they’re gone.

May Sessions: May classes will be released on the website on Friday, April 24th.

💡 A Note on Booking: Due to the shorter schedules, I am are running Individual Class Bookings for both April and May. This gives you the flexibility to pick the dates that work best for your spring schedule!

"A quick update on the studio schedule for the coming weeks: 🌿

Classes are running as normal throughout this week, after which we will be taking an Easter break from the studio, returning on April 10th. 🐣

If things have seemed a little quiet here otherwise, it’s because they have been—intentionally.

The last year has been a journey of deep internal work: mentally, spiritually, and professionally. Many of you have seen snippets of my travels and moments of rest over the last few months; those weren't just holidays, but a necessary 'going within' to recalibrate and reclaim my peace.

I’ve realised that while social media can be a powerful tool, it can also become a significant 'noise.' I have intentionally traded screen time for 'real time'—focusing on my clinical practice, my own well-being, spiritual growth and the incredible clients I see in the studio every day. I’ve found that my energy is best spent on my craft and my community in the real world, rather than performing for an algorithm.

What to expect moving forward: I’ll continue to share the deep-dive science of movement (like the Articular Neurology and Clinical Pilates we practice in-studio), important updates, and occasional insights when they feel truly meaningful—but at a much slower, more intentional pace. I will post when I feel like it.

My business is thriving, my heart is full, and I’m so grateful to those of you who have stayed with me through the quiet. I’m still here, still teaching, and still committed to your movement—just more in 'real life' than on your screen.

Quality over quantity, always. ✨

Since I was 16 years old, I’ve dreamed of standing here.

In front of the temple of Hatshepsut — a woman who stepped into a role reserved for kings and expanded what power could mean.

She claimed the title of Pharaoh in a world where that title had always been male.
She wore the headpiece.
She wore the ceremonial beard.
Not to erase herself — but to step fully into the responsibility of leadership.

And she ruled with vision.

Her legacy is not carved in battlefields.
It is carved in stone, in trade, in prosperity, in the breathtaking lines of the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut rising from the desert cliffs.

Strength without violence.
Authority without cruelty.
Power without losing your essence.

She is a reminder that you can stand in a male-dominated space — unapologetically female — and not shrink.

Standing here feels like a full-circle moment — a quiet reminder that leadership can be steady, intelligent, and deeply rooted in self.

In a world that often feels heavy with conflict, division, and the constant noise of power struggles, her story whispers another possibility.

That strength does not have to destroy.
That leadership does not have to divide.
That power can build.

Over 3,000 years later, she still stands.

And 16-year-old me would be in absolute awe right now. ✨

What a powerful start to the year on the Mat, Chair & Barre.

This term wasn’t just about moving — it was about understanding why we move the way we do.
We refined technique.
We trained breath with intention.
We built real strength through active force production.
We developed intelligent, progressive mobility.
And we explored one of the most important relationships in the body: hip health and its impact on low back pain.

This is what smart, science-led training looks like.
And you showed up — consistently — through the dark, grey, wet winter months. That discipline is what creates results.

I’m incredibly proud of the standard you’ve set this year already. 👏

Due to high demand, the Saturday 9:00 AM class is now fully booked for January, with only one slot on individual dates remaining. To accommodate everyone, I am pleased to announce that I will be adding a new class at 10:30 AM starting in January 2026 at Norman Park Community Sports Centre.

Moving forward, the Saturday classes will be named as follows:
• 9:00 AM: Mixed Ability Pilates (changed from Beginners)
• 10:30 AM: Beginners Pilates (booking can be done here: https://www.sandrafranco.co.uk/booking-calendar/beginners-pilates-10-30am?referral=service_list_widget or in bio on IG.

I often hear from clients who struggle with the physical demand of getting down to and up from the floor, but still desperately need to work on their core strength, balance, and joint health.

That’s why I created the 45-minute Specialised Chair Pilates & FRC Mobility class.

I meet you exactly where you are, in a safe and encouraged environment. There is no prerequisite required—except for having a human body! All are welcome.

This isn't 'easy' exercise. It's targeted, supported training that combines the core principles of Pilates with the cutting-edge science of Functional Range Conditioning (FRC). We focus on building resilient soft tissue strength, improving neurological control, and actively stabilising the joints—all while fully supported in a chair or standing with support.

Who is this class designed for?

This is for individuals determined to move better, especially those managing:

Hip and knee replacements/injuries

Arthritis or Osteoarthritis

Balance challenges (like Vertigo)

Chronic illnesses, including conditions like Huntington’s Disease

Anyone needing a safe, supported training environment.

The goal is to provide the precise, challenging work required to improve your functional body capacity, regardless of your starting point. It's about optimising movement, step by supported step.
