This weekend sees the borough finals taking place at our club over Saturday and Sunday.
Sessions are at 10am and 2pm on both days.
There will be food and refreshments available.
Pop down and support the players and enjoy the weather.
Come down and see some high level bowls and if you’re interested in the sport then information will be available.

Another 6-0 win tonight in the medley league, this moves us level on points with leaders West Mersea Bowls Club.
Rest of the games being played tomorrow.
We are back at home on Friday against Arclight Bowls Club.

A great day down at the club for our bank holiday fun bowls days with BBQ and quiz.
A good turnout and thanks to all those that asssisted and supported the event.

In the medley league on Friday night and we have the borough finals on over the weekend.

2 wins this week in the Medley League has seen us move to 4th place, only 6 points behind the leaders.
This week we have out fun day with BBQ on Monday, 2pm start.
Tuesday we travel to West End and then we’re at home on Friday against Arclight Bowls Club.

If you fancy giving the indoor game a go at Colchester, see their open days below.

Colchester Indoor Bowls Club are holding an Open Day on Saturday 12th September, 10am - 4pm.

If you know anyone who's ever fancied trying bowls, whether that is a neighbour, a friend, a family member, this is the perfect chance for them to go along, have a go, and see what the club is all about. No experience is needed, and it's completely free to try. Anyone aged 8 and up is welcome, so it's a great one for the whole family (anyone under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult).

The club will have coaching on hand, all six rinks open for a taster, and the bar and dining room are open too, so there's plenty to enjoy even if bowls isn't for you! There's free on-site parking as well, so it's an easy visit.

We’re excited to launch a brand-new Friday night competition at Colchester Indoor Bowls Club, The Affinia Masters Open Pairs!

The competition will run across 9 Friday nights, followed by a dedicated Finals Night to crown our first Affinia Masters champions! 🏆

This is an open competition and all bowlers are welcome to enquire. We’re hoping to attract a great mix of players from outside the club too and create a competitive but enjoyable Friday night atmosphere at the club.

We think this is a great concept and should make for a brilliant event, with the Aussie Pairs format bringing something a little different to the indoor season.
