Just like to wish both Adam Shepherd Racing and Bren Rooney the best of luck this weekend !! Adam is in Hungary racing in TCR Europe and Bren at Thruxton in the pre 66 race ……

However I think the race of the century will be at Silverstone F1 when 22 F1 drivers get in go carts for a drivers parade. What could possibly go wrong 🤦‍♂️

Great work as usual being undertaken by Col & Bren at CA Restoration. They come highly recommended saving both the Bevan IMP & A40.
They also make a great cup of tea !

Massive congratulations to Bren Rooney and Mike Loveland who have taken the long journey to Mondello park in Ireland for the pre 66 races over this weekend. I understand that they both had a great time.

Race 1, Saturday: Bren qualified 5th and crossed the line 3rd but was promoted to 2nd as the Cortina passed under waved yellows. Mike finished 7th, struggling with the wrong gear ratios in his box.

Race 2, Grid was a reverse grid from Saturday's results. Mike lead the field off and lead for lap 1, then the big boys caught up. Bren stayed with them for a few laps and decided to lift off and have a dice with Mike. Bren took 7th and Mike 8th. They awarded Bren a trophy today for 1st imp home with it being the Dan Rooney trophy.

What an honour it must have been for Bren to win the trophy in honour of his grandad! We are pleased both Imps did well and are travelling home unharmed. Well done to both Brendan Rooney and Michael Loveland.
