Seven years ago, I started Rep Max Fitness with a passion for helping people become stronger, healthier and more confident.

Today, I get to welcome clients into my very own boutique private training studio in the heart of West Kirby and I couldn’t be prouder.

What makes this space even more special is that it started life as an old, tired garage. After a lot of hard work, vision, determination (and more than a few challenges along the way!), it’s been transformed into a beautiful private studio surrounded by nature, where clients can feel comfortable, supported and completely focused on themselves during their 1:1 and 2:1 training sessions.

The journey to get here hasn’t been easy.
Over the past 7 years, I’ve worked countless 15-hour days, experienced my fair share of burnout, and poured everything into growing this business. As much as personal training is physically and mentally demanding, I genuinely love what I do and wouldn’t change it for the world.

When I moved from Essex to West Kirby, I essentially started all over again. I rented small studio spaces across the Wirral, hired gym facilities wherever I could, then eventually opened my own studio in Hoylake for two years and continued to hustle every single day to build something special.

Looking back now, I’m incredibly proud of what Rep Max Fitness has become.

Most importantly, I’m grateful. Grateful for every client who has trusted me with their fitness journey, every recommendation, every share, every kind word and every bit of support along the way.

This little business means the world to me, and none of it would have been possible without all of you.

I hear this all the time, especially from women.
A pull-up isn’t just another exercise, it’s one of the toughest bodyweight movements you can do. It requires strength from your back, shoulders, arms, core and grip, all working together to pull your entire body weight upwards.

For many women, pull-ups can be more challenging because we naturally have less upper-body muscle mass. But that doesn’t mean they’re impossible,it just means building the strength takes time and consistency.

A huge shoutout to my client Jo, who absolutely smashed her assisted pull-ups this week! šŸ‘šŸ”„ Every rep is building the strength and confidence needed to get closer to that first unassisted pull-up.

Remember, it’s not just about achieving the pull-up, it’s about becoming stronger along the way.
