A superb slightly washed out reddy/brown colour to help avoid birdlife and a first-class ingredient profile to aid any fish putting on weight AND return for more once the flavour combination hits the back of the throat.

Well the first month saw four 40's landed and 17 plus 30's. New lake record of 43lb 8oz. there's been a fair few 20's as well as a few tench a pike and even a 7lb plus eel. This month the fish went in to spawning mode and had a good go at it but are now on the look out for food again.

Ben Butler with 30 pics not including this weekend. Looks like the brothers have worked out how to do it on Rodney but the fish do like to change the rules on you when you lest expect it. Well done lads
