Lots of competitions recently for Basara fencers and some strong results across the board 👏

Oscar made his LPJS debut in the U14 Boys Foil, finishing 15th.

At the Birmingham Open, Lilly (6/88) and our training partner Rita (14/88) delivered in the Women’s Épée, with Leo taking 12/115 in the Men’s event

Also great to see Joelle 🇲🇾 from Basara Fencing Club at the Junior World Championships in Brazil 🇧🇷, progressing through qualifiers to reach the main draw and finishing 98th.

Competition Results 1st & 2nd March

Jeff, Nivin and Aaron from the our club had a good experience in the London Region BYC. Jeff won bronze medal, qualifying for the BYC.

Hao competed in Elite epee. He has shown a lot of improvement, correcting previous errors and winning against opponents he used to struggle with in recent competitions. He's also shown mental development recently, and is getting better at competing in clutch moments during matches.
