Friends of Wem Pool Wem Swimming and Lifestyle Centre Ltd manages Wem Pool as a Community Swimming Pool and 18 Stations Fitness Centre

Now we’re in a good place need more Friends to fundraise for the Centre. We started this project of managing the Centre in January 2015. We are the Friends of Wem Swimming and Lifestyle Centre. The Centre is run as a Community Run Swimming Pool and Gym. Since 2015, we have added a new Gym and Fitness Studio. We need funds to change from oil to a new Heating Plant built to the highest environmental

standards. We have developed the idea of Swim Gym. This targets people who may not do regular exercise to improve their health and well being. It also help people who do sports, triathletes, fitness swimmers, cyclists. Starting with a physical assessment a trainer will recommend combinations of swimming and other exercise. We think that this might be a first for Lifestyle Centres of this type. Please continue with us for our Journey

Thank you to everyone who attended the AGM tonight. Four members of the Board retired and SIX people have joined the Board and Friends committee! Absolutely brilliant!
