🖤 Summer league means rain right ☔️ 🤪 (this was obviously last week, not this week)🤣
So Blacks played a bit of walking netball 👌🏼
A pretty relaxed game, some lovely play and drives across court a massive team effort! Taking a nice big win of 63-21!

❤️🤍🖤 Weekly Warriors 🖤🤍❤️

❤️ A fantastic game for the Reds this weekend against a strong Stratford Ladies side! We came away with a well-earned 68–56 win, thanks to constant positivity and brilliant play across the whole team.
A huge shoutout to Ellie, who earned both Opponents’ Player and Umpires’ Player with her incredible shooting. Tone and Dani were named joint Players’ Player after delivering outstanding intercepts and relentless pressure in the defensive circle.
So proud of everyone—what a team performance! 💪

❤️🤍🖤 Weekly Warriors 🖤🤍❤️

🤍Despite a tough game and finishing with a 10-16 loss, the team showed real determination throughout. Playing half the match one player down, we still managed to keep the opposition within close reach. Windy conditions led to a few messy passes, which the opposition capitalised on whilst of the team played out of their natural positions, but the effort and teamwork never dropped. Most importantly, spirits stayed high from start to finish and everyone kept battling right to the final whistle.

🤍We struggled for the first two quarters but flowed so much better in the second two quarters! It was a Dani clean up with oppositions player, players player and umpires player!

❤️ Close game for Reds this week against the top of the league. Some great play down court and the bonus point for coming within 5 goals!

🖤 Blacks had a lovely game against CBH. A whole team effort on defence! Forcing errors, held balls and flying intercepts! We Managed to pulled away in Q3! but sadly for the opposition they went down to 6 players in Q4 which Blacks took full advantage of to secure the win!

🤍 It was a classic tale of David vs. Goliath today, if David had slightly less aim and Goliath was a literal bear from Coventry. The Warrior Whites took to the court with the grace of gazelles and the determination of people who really wanted a post-match drink.

❤️ From the first whistle, we came out like we’d had about five coffees each—fast, sharp, and absolutely everywhere. The final score was 60-19 a huge win, loads of laughs, and an amazing performance. Well done everyone!

🖤 Blacks had another fab game. Starting off goal for goal in Q1, which then grew in the 2nd half to take the win. Some beautiful play across the whole court a great team effort.

🤍 In what can only be described as a clinical display of "ball is life," the Whites turned up to the first game of the season and decided that mercy was simply not on the menu today. - thanks for the phenomenal report

🖤 We've had two games for Blacks in the Summer League!

A lovely 1st summer game for Blacks. Some nice play across court, ahead for most of the game, but with a few panic passes and daylight fading fast ended in a loss by 5!

Game 2 started with a super quick lead which grew throughout the game. Some excellent defensive work across court and some fab attacking drives making it a well deserved win.

🖤 Final game of the season for Blacks this week and with the sun shining it almost feels like summer! A very close game against Vixens ending as a 44-43 loss but some great play through court!

🤍Play offs for whites today who played very well and placed 2nd in Stratford League!

Honorary mention for Bex Heath who got 3 votes for player's player this season and shout out to joint player of the season - Di Fowler, .fowler13 who along with 2 from other teams, got the most players player votes with 4 across the season!

❤️ Last week, reds had a tough game against top of the league blackbird majors, everyone kept battling all the way til the end! No one gave up and everyone was so positive - one of our best performances against them! 🫶🏻
