Tysoe Ladies spent a lovely morning playing Warwick Boat Club. The weather was perfect and the tennis close, with three matches going to championship tie breaks.

Tysoe held firm to take the points - celebrating afterwards with slices of Victoria Sponge.

Our Marketing Department has refused to concede that it ever rains in August and would like to share that we held our Mixed Doubles Summer Tournament on the Costa Del Tysoe today. Following a series of thrilling matches (and not a little food and drink..) we can announce that Adrian and Jasmine (lowering the average age somewhat) came first and Ali and Tony came runners up.

I'M BORED!

Does this sound familiar? Are the holidays dragging on just a little bit...?

Treat yourself to watching your child run around a tennis court, slowly exhausting themselves. Shout encouragement from the comfort of the sidelines, urging them to reach that all-important drop shot from their opponent. Gaze in wonder as they walk (yet again) to the other side of the court to collect the balls, slowly depleting their boundless energy.

And dream of the peaceful evening ahead, one that can only be provided by the early bedtime of a tennis-addicted child.
