We actually had a rare day off this Sunday, but when Haresfinch came knocking for a friendly, we couldn’t say no 🤝

We invited them down in March and others and enjoyed a great festival, so it’s class to welcome them back again!

💥 Coming back with a twist, friendly and a mix fun session.. also including some parents 👀 who doesnt love a massive game of BULLDOG 🤣

💚 Big credit to both sets of coaches for giving up their spare time to make it happen for the kids, its what rugby is all about 🫶🏉

So instead of a quiet Sunday were on ⬇️

What an amazing month it’s been for our Under 7s!! 🙌

Every session they’ve grown stronger as a team and it’s been brilliant to watch.

This one means a lot to our Under 7s team 💛💚

Our teammate Oliver sadly lost his dad just before Christmas. His dad was not only a huge supporter, but also our assistant coach, and he is deeply missed by everyone at Woolston Rovers. 🔰

Since then, the team have rallied around Oliver in the most incredible way showing what rugby is truly about, friendship, support, and looking after one another.

Oliver absolutely loves his rugby, and he’s found a special way to keep his dad close. He brings his keepsake to every match as his good luck charm ❤️

And last sunday Oliver got an incredible 22 tags, a new team record! His effort and determination are second to none, and we couldn’t be prouder of him 💪🫶

We also want to give a special mention to Oliver’s brother, Charlie, who is a big part of the team too. We always make sure he’s included, he helps us out alot and he’s been amazing supporting Oliver every step of the way 🫶🔰

We’re so proud of Oliver, Charlie, and all the team for the kindness and team spirit they’ve shown. All the team are scattering some wild flowers at our next home match 🌼🌸 Always with us Neil
