We've had a busy few days over at the OGHQ. The lads finished off their last preseason friendly with a great performance and result. Full of effort, energy an some fantastic play from all..
Dex was a stand out with some world class saves beyond his years! Winning Coaches Player Of The Match.
Grayson also had an amazing game with some amazing interceptions, battling everyone and even going on some mazey runs winning Parents Player Of The Match.

In other news our coaches have worked hard all summer shopping around for a ref.. we stumbled across the Mark Clattenberg edition on Temu..unfortunately we got the James Battenberg edition instead. (To be fair he did a great job).

Last but not least keep an eye out on the O.G.T.V channel for the upcoming MOTD (Mums On The Drink). If shoddy camera work (not Clare Lou Photography shes pretty good), dreadful commentary, awful analysis and made up statistics is your thing then tune in every Saturday afternoon! Launching soon 😬

What a great midweek friendly for the greens this week. Great all round performance from all the lads playing some brilliant football. Was really good to see some of the things we have been working on in training taken into the game. Any of the lads could have got an award but managers player was Oscars his work rate, passing and finishing was fantastic. Parents player was Ron, didnt stop pressing, tried hard with his passing and some great finishes. Well done Greens 💚

We finished up our Summer league with a tournament day Saturday for the SL5.
The lads unfortunately bowed out on penalties in the semi final but went all tournament day unbeaten. Showed some amazing team spirit and had each other's backs all day.

Parents Player goes to Dominik who was awesome between the sticks. Double saves, pouncing on lose balls, talking to his team .Well done fella.

Coaches Player went to Grayson who was solid at the back, big tackles, swept well and was making purposeful passes out to teammates.
