We had a great week jumping at the Derby meeting at Hickstead last week in the sunshine.
A huge thank you to the Lincoln Stud team, we had some very early mornings and records were broken with number of steps walked per day by all of us 🙃
All our horses jumped well, many stepping up a class, with consistently good rounds.
It was fantastic to go back on Sunday to watch the Derby, such an iconic class, wonderful to watch 😎

Round up of another busy week.
Thursday Coombelands 1.10 - Newcomers
Anne Nelson jumped a super double clear on Ashmolean.
Westpoint Grandure and Z7 Calmini both jumped decent rounds for 4f.

Saturday Felbridge
Limited Touch jumped a super double clear in the 5 year olds to share first place with 3 others. Hannah Lipczynski’s Colja was 5th with just 4f
Anne Nelson’s Piesang jumped very pleasing round in the BN. It’s very rewarding bringing these young horses on both Limited Touch and Piesang were backed at Lincoln Stud and Colja was purchased from Breen Equestrian last year as a 4 year old.

Sunday a quick visit to Pyecombe for two valuable training rounds in the Paris arena and Olivia Taplin’s Z7 Merrylegs, who jumped a good round in the Discovery.

A couple of days now to get ready for the Derby meeting at Hickstead next week.

We backed the lovely OMS Taylor (Tess) in the Autumn of last year and have been bringing her on quietly She has been out to lots of training shows and arena Xc. She has a super attitude and has lots of ability.
She has super natural paces and is brave yet careful over a fence. We have given her a solid start, she has done all the basics, and has lots of ability. Tess is ready to find a new 🏠. If you are looking for a quality, unspoilt young horse to produce to Event or Showjump please contact Michaela on 07831838725 for more details, videos, photos.

Hi lights from our last 3 days of jumping at Felbridge Showground.
Friday Hannah Lipczynski’s lovely 5 year old Colja, jumped a super clear to share first place in the 4-5 year old handicap. Limited Touch jumped well, just touching a pole in the same class.

Saturday We were there very early for the training class and the BN. Cerys Spillsbury jumped a super clear in the training with Lizzie as did Anne Nelson’s Piesang and the lovely 4 year old Legs that I am riding. They both jumped decent rounds in the BN showing us lots of potential.

Sunday Back for another 4-5 year old handicap with Limited Touch and Colja, this time they turned the tables on each other. Limited Touch jumped a lovely clear around a testing course to share first prize. Colja had one mistake to be 4th.
Olivia Taplin’s Z7 Calmini, jumped a pleasing clear to be 9th in the Newcomers

Round up of another week that has flown by.
Thursday - we jumped at Coombelands and Westpoint Grandure jumped a super round to be 3rd in the 1.10. Z7 Calmini also jumped a pleasing round in the same class for one down.
Saturday - we had an extremely busy morning at Felbridge.
I jumped Anne Nelson’s Piesang aka Banana, who we backed last year, in his first registered BN, up till then he had been on a ticket. He jumped a super double clear, first result on his record 🤩
Then it was a quick change to jump Limited Touch and Colja in the 5 year olds in the Day arena, both jumped super rounds just touching one pole each, but was happy with them.
Anne Nelson jumped double clear on Tropical Storm in the BN and a smooth round on Ashmolean in the Newcomers to be placed 6th.
Today - back to Felbridge for training rounds. I was very happy with Tess and BE Lucky Legs who both jumped confident rounds. Cerys Spillsbury had an outing as she wasn’t playing football, her pony Lizzie was very happy to be out jumping again 😎
