Player of the game post for our final regular season games against . A crucial day for all our age groups

U10s- goes to #34 Theo. He has come on leaps and bounds with confidence in recent months even stepping up and practicing with the U12s squads to refine his skills and really locking in on his shooting. Scoring a solid 12 points but the biggest achievement was the 5 steals and him locking up on the defensive end. Well done Theo.

U12s- Goes to Jacob who was on fire offensively showing that he really is a knockdown shooter going 6-8 on his shooting whilst also having his hands in on the defensive end. Really impressive Jacob.

U14s- another joint award to #2 Josh T and #14 Bailey. Josh was a monster on the boards pulling down 18 of them whilst guarding the other teams best player even blocking him twice and for Bailey well he put on his own scoring clinic for the game including a personal 10-0 run to end the half proving why he's one of the league best offensive weapons. Well done Bailey.

U18s- this goes to #9 AJ. AJ came into this game firing on both ends securing a butt load of rebounds and scoring a massive 12 2nd chance points to prowl the U18s to victory. Well done. AJ

And here it is our Final Regular season game day post for the 24/25 season against . This day was a big day for the Raptors with the U10s&12s needing wins to secure their league titles and U14s needing a win to secure the runners up spot .

U10s- now they've proven they're a scoring machine all season and they did just that again. Behind a massive team effort they set another new scoring record for the U10s league and broke their own previous record by 31 points!!!! Proving why they are the league champs.

U12s- the team came into the game slow and it was a bucket for bucket 14-14 half but after ABIT of drama between players late in the second quarter, Raptors stepped on the gas and clank up on defence in the second half and really played good team basketball and pulled away securing a 23 point victory and the league title.

U14s- this team always have a good competitive game against evolution and it turned out to be just that with the opposition taking the 1st quarter the boys knew they had to adjust especially to Bridport big man in the middle who was doing everything right . By the half it was bucket for bucket and we were still down one. The second half came around and raptors did what Raptors do and we locked in on defence and played our basketball and slowly pulled away with lots of big baskets in the 4th to secure the win and league runners up.

U16/18s- we had a friendly between Bridports U16s and our U18s and it was a tougher match than anticipated. Bridport have shown How formidable their younger guys are and gave us a good game with Raptors being up as much as 27 at one point the opponent didn't lie to rest and they came to win with a big 4th quarter but Raptors stayed focussed and pulled out the narrow 9 point victory.

Players of the Game Vs Oaks

U12s- Goes to #6 Freddie. Freddie has come on strides and bounds since joining the Raptors and against Oaks he proved just that. Playing some brilliant defence and then really getting into his bag and scoring at will on offence whilst also being a great point guard and facilitating his teammates. Well done Freddie

U14s- is a shared award this time for #24 Teighan and #30 Ozzy. For T it was amazing to see him perform on both ends getting a steal every time he gambles for the ball and driving to the rim with confidence. And for Ozzy finding his groove on offence again and showing why he's a threat not to be messed with and that he's a straight up bucket getter. Congratulations boys

Game Day 11 Vs the mighty . Alot on the line here as our U12s were attempting to secure top of the league and our U14s looking to do the same.

U12s- U12s came into this game looking to get a statement win against the undefeated Oaks. The game started fast and full of baskets with the 1st quarter being 20-6 and the. Keeping their foot on the gas with the best defence we have seen all season closing out the half 31-8. No complacency was shown this time and The Raptors looked to send a message with another 30 point half although Oaks did going on their own scoring run in the 3rd but Raptors stayed strong and pulled out the massive upset to claim the Head to Head over Oaks and now only needing a victory versus Bridport to win the league.

U14s- our squad had to come into this game prepared with it only being a 9 point game last time the boys knew they'd have to stay switched on and ready to play. We came out firing putting up 17 in the 1st but Oaks also put a strong 12 in too. The 2nd quarter however was for oaks holding us to single digits and putting up another 12 themselves giving us the slim 1 point lead going into the half. The second half was all for the Raptors though putting up a 30-19 half and closing out the game with a secure 12 point victory.

Well done RAPTORS!!!!

Player of the Game against Piranhas.

U10s- goes to Eva. Who despite showing up at Half time put on a scoring clinic and locked up on defence. Who knows what could've happened if she was in for 4 quarters. Will be exciting to see in the playoffs Final. Well done Eva

U12s- goes to Beau. Playing against his former team he didn't let the pressure get to him and he was fantastic scoring a handful of baskets and rebounding everything under the rim whilst also being the defensive anchor and proving he's a versatile defender. Well done Beau

U14s- goes to Bailey. Again another player playing against his former club showed why he should be on a team with a comfortable Double-Double which seems to be the norm for him now alongside being a beast on defence for the team. Congrats Bailey

U18s- goes to the Big Man Fin. He had a solid outing against a big Pirnahas side. Putting a dozen Double-Double it was good to see him being aggressive on both ends to show he's a force. Nice work fin

Game Day 9 against Piranhas. This was a day full of drama.

U10s- another game that came down to the wire. With Raptors being without their big scorer for the whole first half Piranhas opened up an 8 point lead going into the half. But Raptors came out ready and firing in the 2nd half and made the lead back and even getting a 6 point lead of their own before a bunch of crucial baskets were scored including a long range bucket from Piranhas with 8 seconds left giving them the narrow one point victory.

U12s- continue on their unbeaten streak going into this game having won big the past 2 games. This game proved that complacency will not win you games and the second half of this game proved this. Fortunate for Raptors they opened up enough of a lead to keep this game alive but lack of effort almost cost them a win. Always room for improvement and a win is still a win.

U14s- this side looking to get the double over Piranhas . This game started off slow with a bucket for bucket 1st Quarter. Piranhas then pulled ahead in the 2nd to go into the half up 7. The third quarter was another basket for basket period and then the Raptors locked in the 4th to go up 1 with 12 seconds remaining. Piranhas then had a chance to win and missed before grabbing their own rebound and hitting a deep 2 with 8 seconds left. Coach Tee drew up an ATO for the boys and the ball was inbounded and sped down the court and a lay up that lipped out from Browne before UZZELL got the rebound and 2nd chance effort that bounced off the rim on the buzzer . A right loss for our boys.

U18s- still searching for their first win of the season our U18s came out ready and raring to go. Playing a good mixture of zone and man defence we were level for the first half with the opposition only having a 4 point lead at the Half. The 3rd quarter curse was finally lifted with Pirnahas only extending their lead to 6 but then with only 7 players Piranhas put their foot on the gas of a tired Raptors team and pulled out a big 4th quarter for the win.

A very good day and competitive day with lots of lessons for the Raptors.

POTG for Game 9 Vs

U12s- goes to #11 Amira who stepped up to the U12s squad and out on a very good performance. Getting herself into double digit scoring whilst playing lockdown defence on whoever she was guarding. Very impressive game. Well done Amira

U14s- although not a great game for our U14s, this one goes to #11 Zion who took it upon himself to finish out the game in the 4th scoring a handful of baskets and rebounding the ball very well. He even got himself a triple to add to it. Congrats Zion

Game Day 8 Vs and it was a good one.

U12s- U12s came into this game with all of our development players playing and they put on a show putting up a near triple digit effort whilst holding their opponents to understand 40. What a performance from all the players.

U14s- Now our squad has been on a winning role going into this game and this proved detrimental to the team as they started this game very complacent and were lackluster on both ends of the ball allowing storm to open up an 8 point cushion going into the half. With some half time adjustments our boys came out ready and took the lead back within minutes before a bucket for bucket period in the 4th with a Raptors player hitting the game winning shot with 8 seconds to go. What a win lads.

Another good weekend of basketball for the Raptors.

U14s- sees #1 Jack taking home the award with a stellar performance for the club. With an all around performance on both ends and securing an U14s record 25 rebounds. What a performance Jack

U18s- goes to #10 Marcel who was an offensive beast in this game lacing 60% of his shots from behind the arc as well as being an anchor on the defensive end aswell. Congrats Marcel
