Wantage Town Ladies Football Team

Today we took part in the Launton Summer Tournament.
Good fun, social time and fitness .
Team one played 6 games and finished 4th in group B. They got through to the knockout stages where they lost to a strong MK United team.
Team 2 played 7 games finishing 8th in group C.
Everyone enjoyed the day 💚

Last night we took part in our first Summer Tournament and we are happy to say that we won the Ladies Plate section of the Didcot Town Youth Tournament 2026!
Group stages we won 1, drew 1 and lost 2.
Knockout stages we drew and then won on penalties!
The final we drew and it went to Golden goal and was still a draw and then we won on penalties!
Well done to Ro, Lisa, Val, Gemma, Jodie, Sarah and Lois who took part.
