We are a friendly tennis club located in a beautiful setting where you will find a warm welcome and the opportunity to play tennis at a level which suits you. We have 7 outdoor courts: 5 floodlit artificial grass courts and 2 artificial clay courts. We are open 365 days a year, have a fully stocked bar in the clubhouse as well as changing rooms and shower facilities. We hold various social events
throughout the year including quiz nights, a club tournament and a fabulous Christmas Party. Our clubhouse is also available to hire for private functions. Linkside is always ready to welcome new members, from early years to more mature adults and everyone in between, whether you are a beginner looking for coaching, a social player, or a more experienced player looking for team play, Linkside offers tennis and coaching for all levels. Social sessions are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30pm to 10:00pm, and on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. We are just over 3 miles by road or 3 stops by tube from Stratford station. The entrance to the car park is at the junctions of Overton Drive, Saint Mary's Avenue and Langley Drive as marked by the purple star on the map below. Directions By Car From The M11
At the end of the southbound M11, take the left hand branch which will lead you directly onto the A406. At the bottom of the exit you will come to the Redbridge roundabout (it is signed Wanstead). Take the fourth exit off the roundabout, which is the A12. Branch off the A12 at the second exit, signed Wanstead, and follow this road up to the traffic lights (you will see Wanstead tube station on your left. At the traffic lights, take a left onto The Green which turns into St Mary's Avenue. At the end of St Mary's Avenue you will see a small lane directly opposite which is the entrance to Linkside. At the end of the parking lot and before the cricket ground, follow the path to the right between the golf course and the cricket ground. You will see our 7 courts next to the Club House. Follow the A12 towards Central London. At the Redbridge Roundabout, go straight over and follow the A12 (second exit).
