Our coach is travelling to Gambia from 22-27 March 2022 to work on an Orphanage Project to raise funds alongside ‘Smile with Gambia’ charity. The target is £4000 (link in bio)

Gambia is one of the poorest countries in the world, with a high population of orphans. The absence of parents means that vulnerable children may have no access to health, education, and food. It is our duty to lend our help to the vulnerable orphans of Gambia, they all deserve a bright future full of smiles and we need YOUR help to fulfil this.

Activities on the ground
1. Construction work

The building work required to build the orphanage.

The site will accommodate;
Mosque
School
Orphanage
Playground area
Agriculture area

2. Working on other local projects

There will be an opportunity to visit other local projects on the go. This will include help with the renovation of a Masjid, with fixing the ceiling, plastering the walls and bringing it all together with a touch of paint.

Other projects will include hand packing monthly food packs and handing them out to the community.
