"All successful people today have something in common which is, they all experienced failure. Don't hesitate on taking a decision that matters to you because you are scared you are going to fail. Instead, start now so that you can fail faster and learn from your mistakes, as there is no success without failure".

It feels like yesterday when my sister came to me one night saying : "I want to start a shampoo business".
And I remember my instantaneous reply was : " you? Who is going to buy from you??"
I didn't think it was possible for people to trust me enough to pay me for any product/service. (Talk about low self esteem lol)
Long story short, we decided to start it anyway, we were both so gassed and at the same time so clueless. We didn't know anything about running a business, let alone running a successful hair care business.
Our first idea was to start a shampoo business using ordinary plastic bottles, we couldn't even be bothered to sort out things like branding, product photography etc.
All we knew was that we wanted to make extra cash, and starting a business seems like the easiest option.
That night we opened an Instagram account, and that was the it!

A few months later, we were not as clueless as we first were in business but we knew, we still had a long way to go from being successful.
We had to learn our lessons the hard way and fortunately, and those lessons shaped us into who we are today.

Writing this, right now has made me realise how long Miyo has come.
From two clueless teenage girls to people who have developed the first online afro hair school.
We couldn't have done it without your support. You guys are absolutely amazing.
Thank you so much for always showing up to support us.

Lastly, guys help us continue to give value to women; share our page. Give us a shout-out. Let's spread the word.

Ps: We are currently taking clients for October hair coaching. We will be going through the steps on how to achieve long and healthy hair, starting from what a healthy hair regimen is to product selection. Send us a dm to get started.

I have spoken to a lot of mums, some who have completely given up on their child's hair, they have resorted to either relaxers or texturizers or even cutting their child's hair off.
Others genuinely want to grow their child's hair, but they are clueless about where to start; as a result they have to make guesses. (Most of which are wrong).

You might have heard this before, that the only way to grow healthy textured hair is by having a healthy hair regimen. However, I still get questions like
How often do I wash my child's hair
How can I detangle my child's hair with ease
How can I grow my child's hair long
How do I make wash day tear free and many more.
If this sounds like you, then keep reading because this post is for you.

We have created a regimen builder, which was designed for mums to learn to be the heroes in their child's hair journey. The regimen builder contains all the information necessary for a beginner's guide to a healthy hair regimen . From the different kinds of shampoos, to moisture retention, to a whole range of product recommendations.

Now is the time to learn about your child's hair, especially when time has been thrust upon us. The journey to healthy hair is one that every mother should be part of.

The regimen builder is worth £37.99, however we have decided to sell it for a much cheaper price of £12.99.
We are also doing an early bird offer of £9.99 which is available for only 24 hours.

Get yours today, help your child embrace their natural .

Imagine this!
You have finally been able to make time out to wash your toddler's hair. However, your toddler has been crying non stop even before you begin to touch her hair.
Having afro hair can be hard if you don't know how to take care of it. Especially when dealing with kids. However, once you understand the language it speaks, wash day would become a breeze.
This is where we come in. We're Miyo_hair After a lot of research we have finally put together a free masterclass. (You heard me right it's free)
Where we'll be teaching mothers how to take care of their toddler's hair and how to embrace their natural. We will cover what a healthy hair regimen is and tips on how to prevent breakage.
