On Sunday 15th March, we’re hosting a special Showcase Day at the Thames Weirs, designed to welcome new faces who would like to experience what Burners is all about.

This is a fantastic opportunity for young paddlers to:

VOLUNTEER FREESTYLE PADDLERS NEEDED 🛶

As part of our upcoming Freestyle Coach Education course, we’re looking for a small number of paddlers to take part in the practical coaching sessions.

You’ll act as student paddlers while the coaches practice and develop their coaching skills under guidance.

Details:
📍 Boulters / Thames Weirs
🗓 Saturday 21st February
🗓 Sunday 22nd February
⏰ 1:30pm–3:30pm
💥 Free of charge

You can attend either day — or both.

This is a great opportunity to:
• Receive focused coaching
• Experience different coaching approaches
• Be part of building freestyle coaching properly

All we ask is that you’re comfortable paddling on the feature and open to feedback.

Wow! 😁

Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you isn't really enough! This has been very overwhelming to see the amount of support this wonderful community has shown me! This is not only a moment of the year for me, but it's a moment for sq**rtboating, freestyle, whitewater, and all of the other neich sports out there!

Of course there are so many people who made this wonderful moment happen. My partner Hannah, supporting me endlessly and cheering during every single session! Jacko Jackson for being there in the hot sun, pouring rain to coach me and push what we thought was once possible! The Burners for being the best cheering squad 🔥 And of course so many friends and family watching from home 🏡

Once again, thank you each and everyone who voted for me ❤️
