Weāre doing the title charge
Away days at Castle Vale Stadium and we knew Project would be a tough test. After narrowly doing the double over them last season, we definitely werenāt expecting an easy morning
We started in our usual three at the back but were quickly exposed by Projectās wingers and midfield. They dominated the opening stages, creating multiple chances before taking the lead from a cornerā¦ With a scorpion kick
At this point, the gaffer had seen enough. A big tactical call was made ā ditch the three at the back and move into a four. Thankfully, Morgan Ballā¢ prevailed
Luke beat his man down the right and fired from a tight angle. The keeper tipped it onto the bar, Miles somehow scuffed the rebound, but Isaac was there to slot it home
The second half was a completely different story. Growler controlled possession, moved the ball brilliantly and created chance after chance
Miles won a penalty, with Alfie calmly slotting it into the bottom corner
Miles then won a free kick on the edge of the box. Project didnāt know what to do.
Up stepped James Dixon - 25 yards out. Top right corner. Keeper absolutely nowhere near it. BANGER - Followed by a Harry Kane celebration from a 28-year-old uncle giving it large
Joss then won the ball high up the pitch, finding Isaac, who beat his man and drilled it into the bottom corner from 20 yards
The final goal came from a quick throw from Isaac to Luke, who beat his man, drove down the byline and squared it to Miles for a simple tap-in
A huge response after a difficult start. The tactical change completely changed the game and from then on, Growler controlled the tempo
Man of the match today is Isaac, 2 goals, caused problems all game and his work rate off the ball was unreal
DOTD today is Browny, subbed himself off after 10 minutes and went home. Someone couldnāt hack the hangover
