Let me introduce us! We’re Brownhills Swim School. A private swim school offering children’s swimming lessons out of Brownhills Ormiston Academy. We have recently taken over Mercia Swim School and the delivery of their Thursday lessons in addition to our normal Saturday timetable.

We offer excellent lessons with the price including all certificates and badges, access to our parent portal, free catch up sessions, sibling discounts and holiday credits.

🏊‍♀️ We are swim school people 🏊‍♀️

Alicia is part of our customer support team and has been a passionate swimming teacher for 10 years.

A Swim England Level 2 teacher, she’s also qualified to teach people with disabilities and instruct Mermaid & Mono Fin swimming with the STA. She has experience across private swim schools, leisure centres, portable pools, and now specialises in small group and SEN 1-to-1 lessons.

Before teaching, Alicia spent five years at the STA’s head office in customer service and compliance. In 2023, she completed her Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance qualification and is now working towards her Education and Training certification to become an aquatic tutor.
