Hi everyone,

Unfortunately we’ve made the decision to cancel tonight’s Wildcats session due to the hot weather. We’ve been down to check and there’s no shelter on the pitch — the sun is just too much for the little ones.

This is purely for the health and safety of the children. We know it’s disappointing and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

We just feel it’s too hot for the younger children to be out there safely tonight. We’ll be back as usual next week and will keep an eye on the forecast.

Yesterday, our Panthers Purples took part in the Airbus Girls Tournament competing against 16 teams including several high quality sides from across the North West and Wales.

The girls produced some outstanding football throughout the day. After successfully navigating a tough group stage they went on to play a total of nine matches, conceding just two goals on their way to the final. Unfortunately it wasn’t to be as they suffered a heartbreaking defeat on penalties in the final.

The Panthers showed incredible teamwork, determination and resilience throughout the tournament. We have no doubt they’ll dust themselves off and come back even stronger.

A special congratulations to Elsie who was a thoroughly deserving recipient of the Girl of the Tournament award. Playing in a new position on the wing she delivered an outstanding performance and demonstrated her versatility and quality. We’re sure she will have a fantastic season ahead with the Panthers.

Well done girls – you should all be incredibly proud! 🐾💜

Let us introduce our brand-new Under 8s Panthers team for next season! 🐾

These fantastic girls and their coach Tom have only been together for a short time and tonight they played their very first match.

We are incredibly proud of both the girls and Tom, who has done a brilliant job preparing the team ahead of the new season starting in September.

This is just the beginning for this talented group and we know they are going to have an amazing season. Keep up the great work Panthers – we know you'll smash it! 💜💪 ⚽️

Unfortunately, our Wildcats session has been cancelled this evening.

Due to the recent heavy rain, the ground is very wet, and we know some of our younger girls are still playing in trainers. We want to make sure everyone can take part safely and get the most enjoyment from the session.
