Want to support your local football club and get your name or business seen all season long? We’re now offering player sponsorship opportunities for the upcoming season 2026/27.

✅ A message of thanks to you / your company across all of our social media platforms.
✅ Your name / logo against your player on each match day line up.

Sponsorship is £30 per player, but there are further deals on, if you would like to sponsor 2 or 3 players.

Great day! We ran out 6-3 winners in a great game and everyone had a fabulous time back at The New Inn afterwards. Good food on, a fantastic raffle and a brilliant time had by all. Hopefully we’ve raised lots of money for Wakefield Hospice! There’s still time to donate in the comments on the original post!

💚⚽ A huge congratulations to Durkar FC Open Age and Bedders All Stars for coming together for a fantastic charity match in support of Wakefield Hospice.

Football is about more than just the result on the pitch, and today was a brilliant example of the local community coming together for an amazing cause. We hope everyone involved enjoyed the occasion and, most importantly, that plenty of money was raised to support the incredible work carried out by the hospice.

A big well done to all the players, volunteers, organisers and supporters who helped make the event possible.

Saturday evening we hosted our presentation night at The New Inn.

A great night was had and plenty of awards were handed out.

We’re delighted to announce our seventh (and final) Player of the Month winner of the season!

After an outstanding last month of performances, the lads voted Josh Cameron-Edwards (sponsored by REPM Training) as our May Player of the Month.👏

Josh deservedly received the award, after gaining 8 of 16 votes from the squad.

Josh was exceptional throughout May and fully deserved the overwhelming support in the voting. He bossed the midfield away at Wortley and at home to Stanningley, deservedly walking away with the MOTM in the last game of the season.

Massive congratulations to Josh who deserves this after battling for months on end to get back fit, after being ruled out at the start of the season with a broken ankle. His determination and motivation to get back into the starting 11 has reaped its rewards. 👏

The next set of awards will be announced at presentation night this Saturday at the refurbished The New Inn! Come down and join us in celebrating a great first season in a new league!
