A super special mention to Nansi who was nominated for a Level 1 Sunshine Award: Sunshine Spark by a dancer from another school, the very lovely for her kindness backstage. Nansi always has the most wonderful attitude, she just absolutely loves to perform and be with her friends from CTS and other schools. She also managed to qualify ALL of her dances for the Regional Finals, and I'm delighted she will get to experience the National Finals in her MT trio. Well done Nansi 👏 ✨

I am thrilled to share that all of our juniors Regional Finals achieved marks in the 'excellent' bracket. But much more importantly than this, I am absolutely delighted at how each and every one of our dancers conducted themselves; happy, relaxed, humble, proud, kind & respectful. They absolutely loved the experience. A huge thank you to and the whole team at the South East region for making them feel so special. We mostly saw their best ever performances, and to me, the progression, the growth mindset and their happiness is first & foremost. Long may that continue 🤞 ✨

As a young, but rapidly growing school, our oldest competitor is age 11 Leonor. Having only begun competing around age 9, Leonor's progression has been astonishing. She danced her classical solos so beautifully achieving very high 'excellent' marks. I can't wait to see her thrive into the inter and senior age groups, her next ballet solo will be en pointe which is very exciting 🩰 ✨

Another very special mention to our third highest scoring dances at the Regional Finals, our Junior Ballet Trio - Martha, Scarlett & Edith and one of our Junior Ballet Duets - Lucy & Nansi.

It was so lovely to have soooo many other dance teachers and ex dancers come up to us to congratulate us on how strong the trio was and even called it 'flawless'. It was the best they've ever danced it. Equally, with the duet we had so many lovely comments on how beautiful they were. Well done girls 👏 ✨

A very special mention to Scarlett for achieving our second highest mark across all of our dances at the All England Regional Finals for her ballet solo. This solo has been so successful and she danced it so so beautifully. I think it was the strongest section I saw all week with 16 beautiful dancers, and in my opinion there were 6 dancers worthy of a place in the National Finals, but sadly only 2 could go through. Well done Scarlett 👏

Wow wow wow, she saved the best til last! Having only started competing in festivals 18 months ago, Lucy qualified 4 solos and a duet for the Regional Finals. She scored very highly in all, narrowly missing out I'm sure. I asked to go out for her final dance and give it EVERYTHING she's got...and boy did she! Lucy has the most beautiful natural quality and she made her modern solo look completely effortless - technique, performance quality, musicality, expression, strength & flexibility secured her the silver medal out of 27 incredibly talented dancers in the age 8 modern section and her place at the National Finals. She works her socks off and has the most positive, can-do attitude. Well done Lucy 👏

Our kitty cats did it! I'm so proud of their performance . We've been told multiple times 'what a hard song for such little people' but they have worked so hard and absolutely smashed it. Three strong singers and the best of friends. They achieved a score well above the qualifying mark, securing them a place at the National Finals in the Pre Junior Musical Theatre Trio section. Well done Nansi, Sienna & Ivy 👏 💫

They did it! A gold medal for Delphi & Winnie's Pre Junior Narrative Duet in a section with older children and WAY over the qualifying mark to earn themselves a place in the National Finals 💫

They really danced their hearts out, as they really wanted this and are aged only 5 and 6! They have been best friends since they were 2/3 and that kind of magic connection is the only thing that cannot be rehearsed! Well done girls 👏
