This Girl Can... Play Hockey 🏑

We're excited to be joining the Welwyn Hatfield This Girl Can campaign on Saturday 20th June, with an open session for over 6s to adults, 10-11:30am.

We'd love to see lots of new faces, whether you haven't played hockey before, have tried it at school or haven't picked up a stick for a few years! Everyone is welcome!

On the day, we will divide into different age groups, with supportive and fun hockey coaching sessions. We'll even have a Walking Hockey session, which is great for those who are coming back from injury or would prefer to play at a slower pace.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alan Smith, life Member and passionate supporter of the hockey club for many, many years. More recently you may have known him as an Umpire before he retired.

There will be a service of Thanksgiving on 14th May at St Peter and Paul church in Kimpton 12 noon. The family welcome anyone to join them afterwards at Kimpton Memorial Hall for drink and refreshments.

Hard yards, heavy legs, and a team that never quit. 😤🏑

The W2s’ season is in the books. It wasn't the easiest path, but this squad walked it together every step of the way, and topped with an end of the season social doing some ace throwing! 🪓

Time to reset, recharge, and get back to what we do best. See you on the pitch for the summer sessions! ☀️🔥
