Albert Village Ladies/Girls Football Club

Albert Village Ladies/Girls Football Club AVFC was founded in 2008 with a purpose to provide a safe, secure, progressive football club in the local area.

Currently the club hosts 7 girls teams ranging from U9 - U15 and a Wildcats centre for girls aged from 5 to get involved in the game.

🏆U12 Gold League Winners 🏆

Our fantastic U12 Tigermoths were crowned U12 Gold league winners last Sunday! Theyve had a great season winning 18 games and only loosing 1 game out of the 22 played!

A huge achievement girls- you should all be so proud of yourself! Rest up and get ready to go again next year!

Come down to The Granville Academy for our annual Sands United FC Ashby vs AVFC Coaches!

The forecast for Sunday looks Glorious with the sun shining! The kiosk will be open serving cold/hot drinks aswell as hot food during the event. Raffle and tombola also available!

Bring the whole family down as the entry's free and enjoy a beautiful afternoon watching the game!

After having a fantastic season they take on Hilton Harriers U11 Warriors in the BJFL Spring Shield Cup Final!

In Semi final they beat AFC Chellaston U11 All Stars 3-1 to secure their spot for today!

It's a huge matchday for our U13 Phantoms as they face Div 1 winners Woodville Rangers Blue in the U13 BJFL Cup Final. The game takes place on the pitch at the Pirelli!

After a successful season finishing 2nd in the table narrowly missing out on the top spot! The Phantoms look to bring home the cup today after a 7-3 Win over Woodville Black previously in the Semi final!

Our U14 Typhoons (as of 26/27) are looking for players to join the squad! They train Fridays based in Swadlincote and play in the BJFL on a Sunday. All positions are considered.

Our U13 Phantoms kick off time for their cup final against Woodville Rangers Blue has changed from 11:45KO to 11:15KO

What a fantastic season our U13 Phantoms have had this year! This week they received their runners up medals for placing 2nd in the BJFL Division 2, Narrowly missing out on the top spot!

They've had an incredible season finishing with a goal difference of 99+ and have showed real determination to fight as individuals, units and as a team!

Manager Tim said that "Amongst the positives, moments of adversity and disappointment have made them stronger as a team and as friends. Forever Phantoms."

Now they look forward to Sunday 10th of May as they have a huge Cup Final against the Division 1 Champions- Woodville Rangers Blue. They've been working hard for weeks in training to lead up to this once in a lifetime experience of playing on the pitch at the Pirelli!

They may be the underdogs but everyone at the club are behind them, giving them the support they deserve and no matter what happens we are all just as proud as we are now!

Well done team on your fabulous achievements this season!

It's a huge matchday for our midweek ladies blue side as they take on AFC Fradley in the Staffordshire Midweek League Cup final!

After a successful win last year, the Ladies are looking to bring home the trophy for the second year running, also helping them complete the double after being crowned league champions last month!
