A dad-of-two who was once too heavy for even the biggest bathroom scales dropped 15 stone without touching weight loss jabs. 👏

Josiah Ojofeitimi ballooned to around 35 stone and was forced into ###XL clothes as his weight spiralled out of control. ⚖️

His wake-up call came when a quick late-night walk to buy snacks left him in agony and gasping for breath. 😯

The 31-year-old ordered heavy-duty scales that could hold up to 33 stone, only for them to flash up an error message.

“When I got back from my five minute walk, my back was killing,” said Josiah, from Manchester.

“I was sweating and breathless. I looked in the mirror and said out loud ‘what’s up with my back?’ I saw my reflection and realised obviously that’s what it was, so I ordered scales.

“The biggest scales I could find went up to 33 stone and when I stepped on them it said ‘error’. I think I was around 35 stone.

“The thought of trying to lose the weight felt impossible. I’d wake up as late as I could and have a pint of apple juice, four slices of toast, a big bowl of cereal and a Penguin bar before I left the house. Then I’d have a second breakfast in the office with bacon, sausages and Ribena to wash it down. 🍫

“I’d get four packets of biscuits for a meeting with three people and eat most of them. At home, I’d have a normal tea with my family then order a kebab later. Before bed, I ate Doritos, chocolate and sweets.”

He slashed his calories and spent a year on a keto diet before adding daily walking, cycling and gym sessions to his routine.

Standing at 6ft 4ins, he has slimmed down to 19 stone and now wears an XL. He has even quit his job in insurance to help coach others trying to get fit. 👏

Training too hard all the time is what’s stopping you losing weight.

All-out running every week..
Heart rate through the roof just to keep pace with what feels “acceptable”..
Every session treated like a test..
HIIT workouts..
Endless classes.

Then:
The scale stalls..
Hunger’s constant..
Recovery never catches up..
Always tired..
Always achy..
I know..
I’ve done it.

This is the part most people ignore.

The long sessions..
Low stress..
No ego..
Nothing impressive for Instagram or Strava.

I haven’t stopped training hard..
I’ve stopped training recklessly.

Hard days are planned..
Easy days are deliberate..
Phases actually mean something.

That’s why I’m done with weekly updates..
I’ll update at the end of each phase..
When the work’s had time to do its job.

Fat loss isn’t about doing more..
It’s about doing less most of the time..
For long enough..
To actually make a difference.

So ask yourself this..
Are you training with a clear structure towards a goal..
Or are you just training to tick a box?

Out all day..Excess calories.. Aware.. Accepting.Today isn’t about being perfect..It’s about being present..And enjoying...

No punishment..
No restriction.

This is what balance actually looks like..
Not avoiding life..
Not “starting again”..
Just returning to structure..
Every single time.

Fat loss that lasts has to fit real life..
That’s sustainability..

Days out..
Anything that needed energy..
Because I didn’t have it.

Now I get to be here..
Active..
Capable..
Mobile..
Not just watching it happen.
