⚽ PLAYERS WANTED – UPWELL TOWN U9s (2026/27) ⚽

We’re really excited to be on the lookout for 1 or 2 new players to join our fantastic group as they move from U8s into U9s next season!

This is a brilliant, hard-working team full of great characters who love their football, and we’re looking to add players who are ready to develop, learn, and most importantly enjoy the game.

👉 This team is for children currently in Year 3 (moving into Year 4 in September).

At Upwell Town, we pride ourselves on creating a positive, supportive environment where players can build confidence, improve their skills, and be part of a real team. With a UEFA qualified coach, structured training sessions, and competitive matches in the Mid Norfolk Youth League, this is a great opportunity for any young player looking to take the next step.

📍 Training: Friday evenings at Upwell Playing Field
⚽ Matches: Saturday mornings

We’ll be inviting interested players along to a few open training sessions, giving them a chance to meet the team, enjoy the environment, and for us to make sure it’s the right fit for everyone.

1st tournament of the summer for this lot who secured 3rd place in there group via a penalty shootout, winning their semi final before losing their final 1-0 to a very dubious penalty…..

And we are back out coaching tonight at a 4 week booking for a local youth club….

Quite a few missing tonight as half term but what a year its been for our group training session open to all, some new faces & some returning faces not just kids but coaches as well !!!

We thank every single parent, kid, coach or anyone that has helped put a goal out or away…..without you all we wouldn’t & couldn’t be here so massive thanks again I appreciate you all !!!

Back to the kids what a joy it has been to coach them all, couldn’t be more proud of progress they have all made wether its 1 step or 3 steps !!!

From me personally its an honour & privilege to coach all the kids & pass on some life lessons/skills they can take on in life, lucky to get to do my main passion so many times a week because of you ALL !!!
