Guyz In Sync Guyz In Sync are the UK's only all male Latin / Ballroom Showdance team. Guyz In Sync are the UK's only all male Latin/Ballroom Showdance team.

We bring you unique and interesting choreography combining elements of Latin and Ballroom with a twist. The team was created in 2008 from dancers selected from the same gender dance circuit, and has evolved ever since. We exploded onto the scene at the World Outgames Copenhagen 2009, where we brought Gold back to Britain in the Showdance Championship, with our cheeky George Michael inspired routin

e. At the Gay Games Cologne 2010 we razzle-dazzled 'em with our showstopping Chicago choreopgraphy. Currently we are working on a fabulous new routine for the Eurogames Rotterdam in July 2011. We have performed at many dance events and venues including
- the historic Rivoli Ballroom
- Boundless Ballroom night at the Urdang
- Move It! Dance Exhibition at Kensington Olympia
- Big Dance Bus at the Pride Pink Picnic

Our teachers are leading same gender choreographers Heather and Hadass, co-directors of Studio LaDanza in London. They were presented with an award in the Open2dance Festival in 2009 for their work in promoting diversity in dance. 10 years ago! It’s really difficult to believe that this weekend marks the 10th anniversary of our final performance as ‘Guyz In Sync’ when we became the European Champions 🥇 in Blackpool! We had already ‘retired’ the previous year but reunited for that one special performance.

So many special memories! And yes, even though we are are now scattered far and wide, we are still all great friends.

9 years ago today our audition for Got To Dance aired on Sky One - the judges each gave ‘Guyz In Sync’ a ‘gold star’, earning us a place in the semi finals.

For many of the viewers, this would have been the first time they had seen same s*x dancing - though it’s been great to see several occasions since when dance friends of ours have had the opportunity to showcase same-s*x dancing on television.

For all the ‘Girlz In Sync’ (well: ‘Women In Sync’ didn’t quite have that ring to it) out there, you are invited to the Women’s Dance Holiday Week in Puglia, organised by our choreographers and teachers, Heather and Hadass. Although dancers of all standards are welcome, this is also an amazing opportunity for any beginner dancers.
