After seven fun summers we’re moving on and self-paddle rentals will no longer be an option. However if you’d like a tour or a fun session contact Kathy as that should be possible around their schedule. And check out their launch weekend, plenty on then!

It’s been a funny few weeks weather wise in the Mellon - we’ve been closed pretty much since mid August which is unusual to say the least!

We took advantage and popped off to the Scilly Isles for a paddle. This is the spectacular Ganilly Sandbar near St Martins, an extraordinary experience in near perfect conditions. Apologies 😬

Things look to be perking up for next week with low winds and nice temps. We can’t promise Scilly levels of bliss but the cove has its charms 💫

Lots of chop over the weekend but that didn’t stop the Portmellon Plongeurs braving the slip!

The wind has spun around but is now too strong offshore so we’ll be closed for awhile unless the forecast changes dramatically. Meanwhile enjoy the last week of silly season, and the sun between the showers!
