Joe has now been with YDP 5 years 💙 and has become an integral part of the team. Joe is a kind lad that forms such great relationships with children and staff.

If you are on the free school meal list (benefit related) then you can apply.

It was amazing to welcome so many young people to our YDP Summer Camp Recruitment evening last night😀

We saw some familiar faces that we coached in schools many years ago 👍🏻

So rewarding for us when we have people that we used to coach then join our YDP coaching team 🔵

Summer camps are close and we will make sure our team of coaches bring the best times and memories for the young people joining us 🤩

Obstacles you may face, the importance of resilience, hard work and key skills like timekeeping, appearance, communication and first impressions. Most importantly giving students the belief that they can achieve great things in life ⭐️🌌

⭐️ YDP ALTERNATIVE PROVISION ⭐️

2 weeks into our brand new Programme. Designed for children struggling in mainstream school. Aiming to create an environment that the students can settle in and feel comfortable in (which we’ve done with the students that have joined us so far).

Then it’s about building positive relationships with the students (which our coaches already have in most cases from the sessions we deliver in the schools).

Encouraging positive choices in and out of school. Educating them on topics that they may be already facing or could face and helping them with the work they are currently completing in school.

We want the students to leave us with a positive attitude and outlook on school and their future. Ready to go back into their school and ready to shine like we know they can 💫

Every child has potential. They just need help unlocking it 🔓

These girls have been superb during the 10 weeks. A pleasure to coach and work with. Growing in confidence each week 🙏
