I’m covering a class at St Marks Church Hall this Friday between 10-11am

As it’s a one-off cover class I’m afraid my first class free rule can’t apply and it will be £8 cash for an hour of breathing, stretch and relaxation…but I am convinced you will love it and if you decide you’d like to try my full class on a Thursday evening..that first class will be FREE!

No yoga class tonight as I’m on holiday in beautiful sunny Scotland…but practice never finishes for me and so here I am working out a routine for our focus pose for September…Trikonasana 🧘🏻‍♀️🧘🏻

Time for Tree 🌳

This old pic popped up today in my memories, which I thought quite lovely as it’s my focus pose for this month 💚

It made me realise/remember a few things…

1) How long was my hair 😳
2) Its difficult doing a yoga pose in trainers 😳😳
3) I was in the middle of Santa Cruz, on my own, in a forest of Red Wood trees…with no idea how to get home…what on earth was I thinking!!!!😳😳😳

Did you know that teaching a yoga class requires A LOT of preparation?

Themes, stages, modifications, warm ups, counterposes…it all needs a plan so that the class is accessible to anyone who wants to give it a try…

Here I am with Reggie (who isn’t as enthusiastic about downward dog as I thought he should be) planning tomorrow nights class at St Marks Church Hall in Bromley…

Was your Monday like mine and left you feeling all tied up in knots??

I work full time in a job I 🖤🖤🖤 but before yoga I found it so difficult to switch off…

So now every night, without fail, I either teach, go to a class as a student, or better still home practice, as I am tonight (believe it or not this pose is quite calming)

The difference it’s made is huge…I sleep better, feel happier and I’m prepared for anything life has to throw my way….

My yoga classes in Bromley are taught in stages so you can start to build your own routine, and just by setting aside 10mins a day…you will also start to feel a change…why not give it a go!

After a slight delay, we finally got to re-group and celebrate our graduation this weekend…So now it’s official and I have the certificate to confirm that I’m a fully graduated Yoga Teacher 🎉

I couldn’t have achieved it without the support of such wonderful teachers and fellow students ❤️❤️❤️

Time for a lie down now in Savasana 🧘🏻‍♀️

Bex Papa-Adams, from Hempstead, Kent, was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer 17 years ago, at the age of 29, and is now a mother-of-three and a qualified yoga teacher.
