Five years ago, Claire joined UFFS after having her daughter, Caoimhe.

Like so many mums, she wanted to lose a bit of weight, feel better in herself and have something that was just for her.

Fast forward five years and the biggest change isn’t actually on the scales.

It’s seeing the impact her choices are having on the people around her.

Recently, Caoimhe asked why she eats salmon, rice and broccoli for dinner. Claire explained that the salmon helps build strong muscles, the rice gives her energy and the broccoli helps keep her healthy.

Caoimhe’s response?

“Then I need to eat more of it for my gymnastics.”

Another day, after coming along to a session, she told her mum:

“My mummy is so strong.”

That’s what this is really about.

Not chasing perfection.
Not being the fittest person in the park.

Just showing up, looking after yourself and setting an example for the little people who are always watching.

Our fabulous Shelby! 🤩

We chose Shelby this month because she’s put a huge effort into her training and has been super diligent on making sure she’s pushing herself to progress week on week.

Shelby has been really on it with her programmed rehab work for her running and is always looking for ways to improve at sessions.

This superstar is always positive and upbeat and doesn’t shy away from a challenge and we’re super proud of her progress! 💪
