Whoosh Explore is a Canoe and Kayak club in Hertfordshire and Essex on the River Stort, offering pool sessions and river tours by canoe and kayak. Whoosh Explore was set up by Peter and Helen Nash in 2008.to offer BCU Go canoeing starter sessions, tours and trails. We are a family based club aimed at getting individuals and groups together for a paddling expeditions and adventures. We have club b

oats, including canoes and kayaks buoyancy aids, spray decks paddles and kit, and an open membership to encourage paddling and having fun in boats together with the aim to make paddling rivers a great weekend option for everyone. We regularly paddle the River Stort and River Cam as well as Paddling trips to LVWWC, the River Thames, Great Ouse, River Stour and River Wye. We offer corporate days out to raise funds for the club via eola.co taster sessions and are in easy reach of London for trips into the countryside on the River.

With nesting season well underway please help us improve the river environment and protect our wildlife.
This is an area that just a few volunteers cleared and maintained over a year ago. We removed invasive species from the river and river bank.

We're delighted to launch Making Waves - providing FREE paddling for local children between 8 and 15 years old who live within 3 miles of the Lee Valley White Water Centre. Starting 18 April, then every Saturday morning through the year. Sessions will take place on flat water (the lake and the Lee Navigation) with all equipment provided. Supported by Sport England.
