Now introducing the Gym Ball for one-to-one and semi-privates in my home studio (Newport, Barnstaple) 🙌🏼

I have personally found the Gym Ball to be so much fun from using it as a tool to aid relaxation and breathing techniques to (of course!) adding more balance and co-ordination. It adds a variety of challenges in a way I didn’t expect. Many of the reformer exercises can be transferred to the ball and on some of the exercises it can create an environment that requires even more focus and control. Such a lovely addition to the matwork and equipment series 🤍

Excited that I will now be hosting some Pilates sessions over the next 3 weeks on Sundays in Westward Ho! at the lovely SOS Coffee Bar & Hang Out. 

I have been working closely with SOS Surf Shop and their newly opened Coffee Bar to bring more wellbeing sessions to the space. We have Pilates, Sound baths, Women’s circles, Run clubs and so much more lined up to build a sense of community and to create a space where people can slow down, reconnect and spend a little time looking after themselves.

I will be hosting an hour long class on the 25th January, 1st & 8th February at 9am, each class is £10.
Our focus is going to be on alignment and bringing ourselves back to balanced movement, with added options of working a bit harder (if you want to!), our classes are all about moving with intention.

All equipment will be provided on the day for the session, each week will have a different lesson plan and the equipment we use will range from blocks, bands to overballs and spiky balls.

Come and join us in Westward Ho! at the SOS Surf Coffee Bar for a three-week taster of what’s to come with our Pilates sessions.

For three Sundays, we’ll be running Pilates classes from 9–10am on:
25th January, 1st February & 8th February.

Across these sessions, our focus will be on relaxation and reconnecting with balanced, mindful movement — with the option to work a little harder too, if you’d like.

Our classes are all about moving with intention and tuning in to what your body is telling you. They’re suitable for mixed abilities, with plenty of options to adapt or progress exercises depending on how you’re feeling on the day.

Spaces are limited and booking is essential.
Classes are £10 per session, and all equipment is provided.

The last year has been a big one full of lots of change. I haven’t posted in ages and there’s so many updates.

But a huge change is that my partner and I moved into our first ever home together 🏡 and finally the Reformer space is up and running ✨

Feeling very grateful to have a warming and calm space in my home to offer 1:1 Reformer and Matwork Pilates privates.

Reformer has so many benefits:
• builds core strength
• improves flexibility
• focuses on alignment in a closed chain environment
• uses resistance to create feedback in the body-
making it excellent for injury prevention and rehab

• and so so many more…

Sessions are available on weekdays in the afternoons and evenings. The studio is located in Newport, Barnstaple with parking nearby.

Pilates classes are starting again after the summer for a 6 week course starting from the 5th September.

Pilates combines the type of strength training needed for bone health with building resistance through mindful control of movement, it helps with strength, stability and mobility (flexibility) in a well-rounded way. Pilates classes are fun, sociable and ‘work the mind’ as much as the body!

We’re back on Tuesdays at 11.00am and we will have a NEW class starting at 9:45am in Roborough Village Hall.

Wednesdays at 9:30am in Chulmleigh Pavilion.

Thursdays at 9:15am & 10:30am in East Worlington Parish Hall.
