On behalf of a client I am looking for the following;
Eventing schoolmaster with Potential to qualify for and compete at Badminton Horse Trials Grassroots Championship
Between 15.3h & 16.2 (absolute maximum)
minimum 8 years old
A gelding would be preferable as other current horses are all geldings.
Breed / type doesn't matter - but it must be kind to do on the ground and easy to handle, as immediate family members are not horsey.
must have an established Eventing competition record - this will be checked extensively.
must have good paces and be good / easy / straightforward to ride on the flat
must be easy to ride to a fence.
Horse must be able to cope with living at livery and not a private yard.
Horse must be able to travel in a forward facing trailer.
Horse must pass a 5 stage vetting with sensible x-rays taken as part of PPE.
Rider is an extremely keen, incredibly enthusiastic, highly professional amateur with a busy full time job.
Rider is tall but incredibly slight and not physically strong
Rider has showjumped previously but is new to eventing more recently.
Rider already has a couple of large up and coming young horses to ride. So is only interested in a schoolmaster and particularly one that is experienced and straightforward to ride on the flat.
The budget is exactly as required for this type of horse.
The horse will be loved beyond measure, will want for nothing and it will be a home for life.
