Mobile Cycle Repairs: Manchester

The clocks have changed, the nights are drawing in, it's not actually that cold yet but will be and it's been a bit wet. If you've not had your bike looked at for a while and are planning to ride through winter or if you're about put it in the shed and want to make sure everything will be ready to roll in spring, now's the time for a service. Any full service booked in November can be had for £50 instead of £65 and if you need the bike picking up or delivering then we'll charge half for that too. Just drop us a message and mention the offer and we'll get you booked in.

In celebration of pride and solidarity with members of the LGBTQ+ community I've made some frankly beautiful artwork over one of our most colourful bikes and will knock a third off any labour or pick up/delivery costs for any services booked from now until the end of the month to be carried out anytime in September. The offer is open to everyone, LGBTQ+ or ally, no need to ask. If you're wondering about our straight pride offers they run the rest of the year, just mention it and we'll do 100% less servicing on your bikes. I'm a bit busy over the weekend so ideally email, text or WhatsApp and I'll get back to you.

Set up for some free bike repairs in a very windy Bradford park under some impressive looking clouds. Come get a tune up whilst having a bounce or getting your face painted if that's your thing. Here until 3pm.

It's been an exceptionally busy 6 weeks or so since Dave left me the keys to concentrate on computers for a while so you'll have to excuse the social media silence. In that time I've done a load of Dr Bike days and managed to build a few lovely bikes. Will's fixed gear respray definitely has the nicest paint although the mega sparkly NJS Nagasawa is a close second, Oli's Warlock is the bike I'd probably ride the most but I think my favourite is the tiny super hybrid TCR for the wife of a customer that wants to ride together but isn't keen on drop bars.
I have a little more time over the coming few weeks so if you need a bike servicing or building give me a shout and head on over to Ardwick or I can come collect from you, it's lovely weather for a ride.

Looking for the perfect world tourer bike to take you on some adventures this Summer? ☀☀ This super cool Ridgeback with custom paint is now for sale, having being stripped and re-built by our wonderful mechanics.

➣ Quality steel frame and forks
➣ Hand built wheels, featuring DT swiss touring rims on a Hope
rear hub and SP Dynamo front. Only around 1 year old. We
can fit front and rear dynamo lighting to rub from the hub at
extra cost.

➣ Shimano drivetrain with ultra reliable bar end shifters, and
powerful v brakes. Bike has brand new brake pads, chain,
cassette, pedals, levers, shifters, cables. The tyres are
Schwalbe Marathon Supreme which are some of the best
available - fast rolling and durable, with good puncture
resistance.

➣ The paint is a recent custom job, with the Ridgeback logo
altered to “Bareback”, so it's ideal for someone with a keen
interest in equestrianism. 🐴

All in all this is a really awesome touring / gravel / commuter bike, with a whole bunch of quality new parts, which is absolutely ready to set off round the world, round the Yorkshire Dales or just round Manchester with your shopping! So long as you don't miss your horse too much. Test rides welcome! 🚲 🚲

Check out this cute used town bike for sale in our workshop, perfect fit for someone with great taste and is 5’4” to 5’-9”!
She’s been much loved in a previous life, is mechanically excellent having just had a full service with all the important service parts replaced: chain, cassette, pads and cables. The frame might look tatty to some, but to the trained eye, it's a stunning example of an anti-theft paint job. City vibes!
