Blaby & District Spartans Inclusive Football Club is specifically for pan-disability players who have a variety of different needs ranging from Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, Downs Syndrome, Social Anxiety, Severe Asthma, Autism, Epilepsy and Hearing Impairment to name just a

few. We play a format of small sided football, either 5 or 6 a side and our adult teams have enjoyed successes throughout the years. We are affiliated to Leicestershire FA and our adult teams who are a mix of male and female players play in the East Midlands Pan-Disability League and Leicestershire Adult Inclusive League. We also run our Youth & Junior Academy for players 6 -16years, to help them get involved in football, learn new skills and make friends in a supporting and safe environment. All our training is held at Countesthorpe Academy.

Every training session, every smile, every high-five after a tough match is about something much bigger. It’s about helping young people grow in confidence, learn teamwork, support one another, and believe in themselves — both on and off the pitch. 🌟

As coaches, we don’t just teach passes, tactics, or goals.
We help build friendships.
We encourage courage.
We create a safe place where every child feels valued, included, and proud to be themselves. 💚

A Call for Heart, Not Just Tactics

The beautiful game isn't just about what happens on the scoreboard. It’s about what happens in the soul. ⚽✨

Not long ago, we shared the incredible news that our club family had grown by 15 vibrant, energetic new players this year. Well, guess what? The laughter on our pitches is getting even louder, and the spark is growing even brighter. We are now hovering around 20 amazing new faces—from eager juniors and passionate youths to determined adults.
Our family is growing. But to help these incredible players thrive, we need a special kind of leader. We need a coach.
We aren't looking for a flawless tactical CV or someone who can diagram a perfect counter-attack on a whiteboard. We are looking for a coach with a heart. ❤️

We are looking for the person who wants to step up as a coach, to be a role model and a true inspiration. The person who knows that a simple word of encouragement—"I believe in you," "Keep going," "You've got this"—can completely change the trajectory of a young person’s week, or even their life.

If you have a deep passion for people, an undeniable love for the beautiful game, and a burning desire to make a real, lasting difference, you are exactly the coach we are hoping will read this.

That place is The Cue Club in South Wigston—and today, we are absolutely thrilled to share a story of our own!

🏆 EAGLES ARE THE CHAMPIONS! 🏆

They say eagles don’t fly, they soar—and that is exactly what this incredible team just did! We are absolutely thrilled to share that the Eagles have officially lifted their FIRST EVER TROPHY as a team! 🎉🦅

It all came down to the final tournament of the season. Four intense, hard-fought games. Every single match felt like a battle, but our players showed exactly why they wear the Spartans badge. They fought fiercely, played with heart, and left everything on the pitch.

After drawing our first two games, the pressure was on. We faced the second-place team—who wanted that trophy just as much as we did—and dug deep to secure a massive win.
That brought us to the final, decisive game. We needed a win.

✨ A Leap of Faith ✨
With everything on the line, Coach made a bold, defining choice. He decided to start the match with our newest, youngest player—a 16-year-old talent freshly promoted from our U16s team.

Was it risky to throw a teenager into his very first adult game with a championship on the line? Maybe to some. But to us? It was pure trust.

And oh wow, did that trust pay off! Not only did he play out of his skin, but he went ahead and scored a HAT-TRICK 🎩⚽⚽⚽, securing the victory and sending the trophy home!

The atmosphere was magic. The sidelines were packed with parents, siblings, carers, and the entire Blaby District Spartans family cheering for every tackle, every pass, and every single goal. Even the other teams stayed on the sidelines to back us.

A massive congratulations to our players who have given 100% all season long, both in training and on match days

And a huge shoutout to our coach—in his very first year of coaching, he believed from day one that he was leading the best group of young adults around. He was right.

It’s time for another beautiful story from our unforgettable Sunday tournament, and this one is all about consistency, ambition, and big dreams! Our incredible Hawks—our adult team playing in Division One—have officially secured their place in the championship for next year! Not only that, but they are also bringing home the very first trophy in the history of our club! 🥇✨

This season brought plenty of changes, including shifts in management, but our Hawks didn’t let anything break their stride. Instead, they completely dominated the league, playing their hearts out to bring home the absolute best results. It has been a truly fantastic achievement!

To our amazing young adults: We have watched you strive to improve game after game, training session after training session. Your dedication is inspiring!

🌟 The Story of Our U12s Starlings: Pure Heart, Determination, and Joy! 🌟

When our U12s Starlings first came together as a newly formed team at the start of the season, they had a mountain of challenges ahead of them. But if you've ever watched this group, you know that nothing stops a Starling! 🦅⚽

Every single training session, every single tournament, they showed up with just one beautiful ambition: to improve and to feel the pure joy of playing football. Fast forward to yesterday. Wow. 🙌

They stepped onto the pitch and played like never before, leaving absolutely everything out there. Honestly, they played with so much passion you could tell they were almost sorry the season was coming to an end! 🥹
From being the underdogs with little chances at the beginning, these incredible kids fought their way straight into the playoffs, competing for a brilliant 3rd position finish. 🥉✨

We’re looking for a commercial leader to help us grow something that starts with football — and becomes much more.

At Blaby District Spartans Charity, football is just the beginning. What we build is belonging, confidence and community for children with additional needs and their families.

As we grow, we need someone who understands how to:

* Build meaningful partnerships
* Translate purpose into commercial value
* Open doors that create long-term impact

This is a Trustee role, but it’s an active one for someone who wants to apply their business skills to something that genuinely matters.

You don’t need previous trustee experience. You do need the ability to contribute, challenge and help us grow.
