1. The Morning Power Smoothie
With Funki Coffee
Ingredients
· 1–2 heaped tbsp Funki Coffee
· 100ml hot water (for brewing)
· 1 frozen banana
· 1 tbsp almond butter or peanut butter
· 1 tbsp Cacao
· 200ml oat milk or almond milk
· 1 Medjool date, pitted (or 1 tsp maple syrup)
· 1 small handful of ice
· Optional add-ins: 1 tbsp h**p seeds, 1 tbsp flaxseed, ¼ avocado, a scoop of your favourite plant-based protein
Method
1. Brew a small, strong cafetière of Funki Coffee using 100ml of hot water. Steep for 4 minutes, press, and allow to cool for a few minutes (or pop in the fridge to speed things up).
2. Add the cooled brewed coffee and all remaining ingredients to a blender.
3. Blend until completely smooth, about 60 seconds on high speed.
4. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed. Pour into a large glass.
