A weekend of two halves for J/70 UK GS #2… light and sunny on Saturday ☀️ and wet and windy on Sunday 💨

The fleet gets tighter each season - some great racing against plenty of top teams! A pleasure as always racing with Doug and the DSP team, finishing 5th overall and 2nd Corinthian team 💪🏼

Fun few days racing at Yacht Club de Carnac 🇫🇷 with a couple of days of light and tight inshore racing and one mega long distance race around Île-de-Houat!

Always a pleasure on the water and onshore with the Hurricane59sx fleet 🍻… a fun season ahead! Full credit also to for pulling the ropes and holding on in some big waves on Saturday 😬

Huge thanks to Royal Southern Yacht Club whose support made it possible to travel out to France for such an iconic event!

After a long winter it felt great to be back on the race course, and looking forward to more events over the next few weeks 🔜

A wet and windy first outing of 2026 at the Starcross Steamer 💨 Fun to be leading the pursuit race for the first hour in 25-30kts before the race was eventually abandoned. Happy to have made it back ashore in one piece… it turns out 15kts in a Europe feels pretty fast 🚀

Full credit to the safety teams for getting everyone ashore in some crazy conditions, and to the club for organising such a friendly and welcoming event despite the forecast!

Another epic year on the water - new venues, new boats, new top speeds 🔥

A solid opener to the WASZP UK season, getting comfortable on the v2 rudder and taking my first few race wins in the UK fleet. The 2025 Waszp Games at WPNSA was a pretty special experience - so cool to share the venue with WASZP friends from around the world 🌍

A conversation at the RYA Dinghy Show turned into a road trip to pick up my own Hurricane 5.9SX. It’s been a great to spend time racing with friends, and to join such a friendly class. Pleased to have picked up two Hurricane event wins and excited for more on two hulls next year!

Some summer yachting on Jalapeno J/99 included a fun RTI lap, the mighty J-Cup (and J-Cup party…🕺) and a solid IRC 3 class win at Dartmouth Regatta 🏆

After a packed season of 16 events the winter so far has been spent closer to home, with some fun, fast and often pretty cold sessions whenever the weather allows 💨🥶

Thanks as always to Allen Sailing and Kingfisher Yacht Ropes for their long standing support 💪🏼 Looking forward to filling the 2026 calendar with more fun events for another big year ➡️

Lots of fun battling towards the front of the fleet in some Mario Kart conditions… some crazy big puffs and shifts punishing any small mistakes 😵‍💫

A fun weekend at with .smith_03 , dodging the storms to squeeze in two epic inshore races on Saturday in big breeze 💨 followed by the 50 NM long distance race on Sunday 🥵

Happy with 5th overall and 1st Hurricane in the , and 3rd overall in the Saturday series 🥉

A proper East Coast bank holiday weekend definitely delivered - sea breeze, sunshine and tight racing all coming down to the last race. Pretty happy to have pulled of a bullet when it counted to take the event win 🏆

Top crewing by Marcus putting up with my rusty helming and chipping in with some solid calls!
