Selections have already begun for a few of our keepers, and the wheels are officially in motion. 🆙️

We are thrilled to welcome the exceptionally talented Olly Smith to our coaching team, taking over the reins from Coach Cam as we kick off an exciting new season at East Lancashire Goalkeeping Academy

Highly recommended, Olly brings expertise and energy to our sessions. Fresh off running his first brilliant session last night, which already earned glowing feedback from parents, Olly is ready to make a massive impact with our goalkeepers

Alongside his role with us, Olly currently plays for Barnoldswick Town F.C. U23s and continues to run his own successful GK Hub centre.

The day we never wanted to see has finally arrived. Last night, we said a bittersweet goodbye to Cam as he heads off full-time to continue his studies at Leeds Beckett University.

Having been with us right from day one, Cam has been the heartbeat of our academy's success. He is not just an exceptionally talented coach, but an absolute credit to his family and one of the finest young men you could ever hope to meet.

Our loss is most certainly Leeds' gain. Thank you for everything you've given to the academy Cam, we are going to miss you more than words can say. Good luck on this next chapter! ⚽️🆙️🧤

First session back after the summer break and the gloves are officially back on! 🔥 Great to see our keepers getting straight back into the rhythm with some handling and distribution work.

Overall, a brilliant return to training across both sessions, with lots of new faces, tasters, and some returning goalkeepers. Hearing the laughter and coaches' voices echoing around the training pitch, it was truly fantastic to be back.

But the hard work for the new season starts here! ⚽️🧤

It is reported that Raife had little to do in the second half but stayed alert to danger in a tight game, with his team winning 2-1 in the last minute. Cross to the back post, he scrambles and spreads, the ball rebounds to his defender, and the team breaks away and scores, a match-winning save! Well done Raife, fantastic save 👌
