It is with a lot of sadness that we have to withdraw from the 2022 European Championships in Tallinn 💔🇪🇪

Zoe started developing yesterday Covid symptoms that were confirmed by a positive Lateral Flow.
A PCR test was done straight away after and came back positive this morning.

Therefore, due to the situation, we won't be able to travel and compete to our last European Championships.

As a fellow pair skater Brandon Frazier said in a video couple of days ago at US nationals, "nothing sucks more than not being able to compete", especially when you've trained hard for it.

Wishing the best to everyone and health.
And to all the British Skaters, good luck 🍀
Especially to Ana and Luke that will participate to their very first European Championships. Enjoy every moments ❤

Thank you to our coaches that have been by our side on the journey to get ready for the event: Mark Naylor, Ruth Woodstock and Dan ❤

Love to all of you

We enjoyed every moments !

We are just missing our coaches, Mark Naylor and Ruth Woodstock ! But they are with us mentally, and that's the most important !

Thank you for all your kind messages !

Always be proud of what you have achieved. Tonight wasn't the best, but the most important for us was to be here, in Stockholm 🇸🇪, representing Team GB 🇬🇧.

You can't expect to be at the top of your game after only 23 practices in 1 year. We have worked extremely hard the past 5 weeks, and this was our achievement, to be in Stockholm - We have put our bodies through a lot during these 50h on ice preparation. Unfortunately, we haven't been in the same situation that many countries who barely stopped skating or had 2-3 months off. We had a full year off the ice.

I'm proud of what we have been able to do during these 5 weeks, and I'm grateful for all the people that have supported us during this time. There are many, but I will just mention a few.

British Ice Skating, National Ice Centre in Nottingham that have been incredible with us, especially Tamara, all our skating friends that have been supporting us and surprising us with beautiful banners, Mark Naylor for being here with us during all the journey, Ruth for being here mentally with us and cheering us up with beautiful masks and many others.

Thank you for this rollercoaster preparation ❤
We are PROUD, and that is all that matters.

Love from Stockholm 🇸🇪
Chris & Zoe
