Girls Cricket Match Report
Whitchurch Primary School vs St Andrew’s Primary School
The girls from Whitchurch Primary and St Andrew’s served up a fantastic game of cricket on Wednesday after school, showcasing some excellent batting, bowling and fielding skills throughout.
Both teams demonstrated great teamwork, determination and sportsmanship from the first ball to the last. There were some impressive performances in the field, with players from both sides taking every opportunity to save runs and support their teammates.
The batting was equally strong, with both teams playing some confident shots and keeping the scoreboard ticking over. Tight bowling from both sides ensured the match remained competitive and exciting throughout.
After a closely contested game, St Andrew’s came out on top with a score of 66, while Whitchurch finished on 52.
A huge congratulations to all the girls who took part. The effort, teamwork and enthusiasm shown by both teams were a credit to their schools and made for a brilliant afternoon of cricket.
