Meet Lucy

Lucy will be starting in the clinic on Saturday the 11th of November and will be in clinic every second Saturday of the month.

Lucy will be offering sports massage appointments. She is also trained in:

* Clinical assessment and observation
* Exercise based rehabilitation programs
* Sports massage
* Kinesio taping
* Dry cupping

Appointments are limited. Dm to get booked in 😃.

Achilles Tendinitis

Achilles tendinitis can have different severities usually starting with an ache or discomfort at the heel area or pain when putting weight on the foot in the morning. This can be quite common in runners especially when increasing the distance or duration of their runs.

Before and after treatment on my client Ashley.

The before picture is a picture Ashley had sent to show me how her shoulder was sitting (we forgot to take one in the clinic) as you can see her left shoulder is sitting higher than the right and it was effecting her training, she was also starting to get discomfort and restriction in her neck which was being transferred for her upper traps.

We done some manual therapy, dry needling and taped the shoulder to help it heal it the correct position. Ashley can still train but we have modified her schedule and exercises for now until her shoulder has fully healed.
