Today, as I hoovered and mopped the gym, it might have seemed like a simple task to most. But for me, on this March 🌼 day in 2026, it represents so much more.
Since giving birth to our beautiful little Winni, I’ve faced significant challenges in navigating day-to-day tasks. Transitioning from a fit, young woman who thrived on exercise and competition to managing basic chores has been a journey of its own.
Just six weeks ago, I struggled to sit up in bed, let alone tackle any household responsibilities. I’ve experienced numerous setbacks, but what kept me going were the unwavering support and encouragement from my loved ones. George, my mum, Winni, family, and friends. They rallied around me, helping with food preparation, cleaning, and caring for Winni, ensuring I didn’t feel overwhelmed or isolated.
This post is a reminder to cherish your journey, no matter how small the steps may seem. If taking just one walk a week can transform your life, then do it.
Today, mopping the floor felt like one of the greatest achievements of my life. It’s essential to celebrate those little wins and recognise that progress comes in many forms.
So, believe in yourself and embrace your journey with the support of your loved ones. Every step forward, no matter how small, is a testament to your strength and determination.
Bring it on 💪🏃♀️💨💛
