Our first team was away to Kirkby on Wednesday night and was looking to secure as many wins as possible on such a tricky green to stay top of the table. We came away with a 9-4 win, with the best result coming from Tony Greenall. Well done, Tony and team!

Last night, they were away in the first game of the knockout cup against Co-op, held at Askam. Co-op started on 24 points, and Cons 1st started from scratch. A few close first games worried us at the start, but with Tony Greenall and Corey Underhill winning 21-8 each and John Lindsy winning 21-7, the game was brought back for us to win 186 to 169 for Co-op. Well done to all who played; every point counted.

Both our teams won on Thursday. Our first team played away at Hawcoat Park, winning 9-4, keeping us top of the table by 10 points, with the best result coming from a joint effort by Jeff Benson and Wayne Walker. Well done to both!

Our second team was away to Kings Head last night and had a tough game, only coming away with 2 wins in wet conditions, which saw them lose 10-2. The best result came from Mick Philp, winning 21-5.
