What a weekend for Team RRR 🔥
Saturday saw some seriously questionable life choices… and some seriously big medals 😆
Greg, Gary, Tom, Karen, Beth and Emma took on the legendary Keswick to Barrow ultra alarms set for 3am to make the 6am start before tackling a brutal 40 miles of hills, tired legs and stubborn determination.
Meanwhile Lora chose the slightly more sensible option with Coniston to Barrow 20 miler, alongside her work colleagues, incredible scenery, unforgiving climbs, and of course the important finish line rewards… medal and free beer 🍺
Better life choices = bigger medals apparently 😂
Sam took on the Blackstick Blue 10K, not a medal in sight, but judging by that cheese reward afterwards, he still came out winning 🧀😂
Marc was also flying the flag at the Cottam Canter Half Marathon putting in another strong performance over the half marathon distance 👏
Sunday we stayed a little closer to home for the Avenham Amble with Laura, Louise, Chris, Pete and Simon. Perfect running conditions, great atmosphere and the ideal way to finish it all off with a proper Sunday roast afterwards 👌
And then there’s our superstar Annabelle… 🚵♀️
Taking on the brutal Fred Whitton Challenge - 112 miles on the bike featuring Hardknott Pass and some of the toughest climbs the Lakes can throw at you. Absolute light work for Ms Caton 🍰
Just to make sure everyone knew she’d smashed it, she casually finished with a bike strict press at the finish line 🏋🏼♀️🔥
Huge weekend. Huge efforts. Huge amounts of stubbornness. Proud of every single one of you 👏
