Not every kid wants to play football. 🏁

There are other sports out there, and enduro can offer something very different — confidence, independence, friendship and the chance to challenge yourself.

At Glendearg in the Scottish Borders, I spent some time with the younger riders to find out what getting into enduro is really like.

Some were taking part in their first race. Others had been riding for years. But the message was similar: you don’t need to be the fastest, you can build up at your own pace, and there are plenty of people around willing to help.

Sometimes you struggle. Sometimes you fall. But you pick yourself up, learn from it and go again.

Great weekend down in a beautiful part of Scotland.

Living up in Ullapool, I’m always told we’re in God’s country—but there’s definitely something special about the scenery around Galashiels too. I can only imagine what it must feel like flying around those hills on a bike!

A huge thanks to the organisers, volunteers and everyone involved for making the weekend happen. I’m currently organising all the footage while travelling back up the A9, and there’s plenty to work through! 🏁📹
