And be with it.
And tend to it.
Without taking it personally.
Or letting it rock your foundations.
There’s a frequency of Feminine energy that’s still (static) like a mountain.
She like Everest.
Avalanches & snow storms rage on her north side,
And yet she remains completely still.
Unmoved to the naked eye.
It’s not that storms don’t arise,
Or even that she’s numb or cold.
It’s that she can be with it all, and not crumble.
It’s a state of being that’s taken eons to cultivate.
And it’s something we can tap into.
It brings us the grounded strength to sit inside a relationship that feels full of paradox.
It lets us descend back to centre when thoughts whip up like a tornado in our heads.
It’s an offering of vast, safe, unchanging space to the weary, in-pain, Masculine.. seeking his version of surrender & rest.
It’s a woman who can bear witness to someone’s emotions, show compassion, and still anchor into ‘I love you AND that’s not my responsibility’.
It’s a coach who can show up to a client session and say, ‘I feel like I don’t know what I’m doing today.. but I’m HERE and I’m not going to abandon you’.
It’s a lover who really hears her man when he shares a triggered moment, and radiates the energy of ‘you’re still a warrior in my eyes, even now, even in this hurt’.
It’s Mountain Mama.
It’s the much harder, but more rewarding work of, focusing on nurturing the capacity to be with the messiness of human life as it unfolds,
Instead of the constant, exhausting, uphill battle with a perfectionist utopian state that doesn’t exist.
When you can hold ALL of this,
And still take up space..
Still show up to difficult conversations..
Still put your work out there..
Still be a lover & a partner & a space holder..
Without morphing into distorted mother..
Yes, there will be catastrophic events,
And you’ll be in the middle of it all,
A nurturer,
A safe space,
And a midwife for boundless growth in others.
